Study Skills and Peer Assistance for Learning
The Cook Counseling Center’s Peer Assistants for Learning (PALs), are available to make presentations in classes while you are away or as part of your regularly scheduled class. These students have been trained to facilitate interactive PowerPoint presentations on a variety of study skills topics, such as time management, textbook reading/concentration and memory improvement, and exam preparation/test taking. They can also present these programs to student organizations, to college and departmental academic success initiative programs, and to students in the residence halls.
