Catherine Amelink

Assessment Coordinator

Dr. Catherine Amelink currently serves as the Assessment Coordinator for the Division of Student Affairs. In this capacity she works with departments on program review activities, data analysis, and assessment of learning outcomes. Previously she served as Assessment Coordinator for undergraduate education at University of Maryland University College. She is a graduate of the Ph.D. program in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at Virginia Tech. She has co-authored several journal articles on the nature of professional life among student affairs professionals at various institutional types. Catherine has served as the Coordinator of Special Projects for the Office of the Provost at Virginia Tech focusing on faculty work-life issues, diversity efforts, excellence in undergraduate education, and coordinating university planning activities and served as a doctoral intern with the State Council of Higher Education.
