DSA Central Administration
DSA Central Administration exist to provide strategic leadership, expertise, and guidance that empowers departments to fulfill the division’s mission.
In doing so, we will support our Aspirations for Student Learning, champion the Virginia Tech Principles of Community, and advance division and university initiatives. Using a collaborative and consultative model, our efforts will guide responsible resource allocation and management, create greater effectiveness and efficiencies, and yield equitable and consistent services across the division.
We will strive to anticipate individual and unit operational needs, as well as to respond thoughtfully, efficiently, and with professional care.
- To educate DSA employees on institutional standards, policies and practices and liaison with our respective institutional functional area on behalf of the division
- To identify and foresee department/division needs and challenges and equip stakeholders in developing customized solutions
- To maintain positive and productive relationships within the and across all DSA departments and within the Central Auxiliary team
- To make division information and resources usable and accessible
